“Mirror, Mirror on the Door - What does 2023 have in Store…?”

The DP Guardian, Inc. - Best Practice for Computer Rooms team has spent the early days of 2023 looking back on 2022, trying to make sense of all the wonderful and sometimes painful lessons learned. Armed with this knowledge and flavored with other data points we have made our best educated #prediction at what the new year will bring DPG. Will we be right or wrong? We'll see. However, we are embracing the new year with renewed #energy and #optimism. Happy 2023, all!

Reflecting back, 2022 was a good year, yet there was room for improvement, for sure. We are proud that we achieved significant revenue growth – almost 2x, in fact. With this great momentum our driving mantra for the new year is: “Win more business AND do so at increased margins!” 💰

Toward that goal we have added four more key staff members to the DP Guardian team to help better serve our growing customer base. There is no substitute for #experience and this is the team to help us grow in 2023 with a focus on providing excellent work for our clients.

We convinced David Harden to interrupt his retirement and join us as Director of Construction Services.The former Data Center Director for Centura Health Dave is an outstanding, professional project manager. As a happy DPG customer for almost 18 years (at least he said he was 😉), Dave’s 2023 charter is the build out a world class Project Management Office (#PMO).

‍Steven Kimbrough left his Technical Assistance Center Manager position with Flexential after 12+ years and managing a staff of 40+, to join us as a Project Manager. Steve will be helping us open our new Atlanta location. The #ATL data center market is booming, and we are both excited and optimistic.

Leon Schnacker re-joined DPG as one of our Datacenter Cleaning Services Supervisors. Leon was DPG’s Operations Manager for many years 10+ years back. He was loved by many of our data center cleaning services customers. We are honored that he decided to come back home to DPG.

Our most recent team member is Barb Gilmore who joined DPG in January 2023 after nearly a decade at Centura Health as IT Director, responsible for 20 hospitals. Prior, Barb was Executive IT Director for the #StateofColorado’s Governor’s OIT group. Barb has taken on a Senior Project Manager role at DPG in Dave’s new PMO, and we are thrilled to have her onboard.

Over the past 18 months DP Guardian has built one of the strongest #datacenterservices organizations around.  We are experienced, #relationship-focused and you can count on us. So please do! 😉
